The Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service is aware of proposals for a c140km new overhead high voltage electricity transmission route from Grimsby to Walpole, to include a further five new substations. The project is classed as an NSIP – Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project and will therefore be assessed by the national Planning Inspectorate. We will be reviewing the scheme with a view to submitting an official response on behalf of the Lincolnshire Wolds Joint Advisory Committee.
